Natural Protein Bars Recipe

Natural Protein Bars – A Simple Real-Food Snack with 10–12g Protein

Natural Protein Bars Recipe

Natural Protein Bars

5 from 1 vote
Real-food protein bars made with simple, wholesome ingredients. No fillers, no ultra-processing, just honest fuel. Each bar packs around 10–12g of protein and takes minutes to prepare.
Servings: 6
Course: Snack

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Oat flour (blended oats)
  • 1 cup Almond flour
  • 1/3 cup Protein powder of your choice
  • 1 tsp Vanilla powder (not vanilla sugar)
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 5 tbsp Natural unsweetened peanut butter
  • 3 tbsp Maple syrup
  • 3 tbsp Milk
  • 80 gram 85% chocolate (or higher)
  • 2 tsp Coconut oil

Method

  1. Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Add peanut butter, maple syrup, and milk.
  3. Line an oblong baking tin with parchment paper
  4. Add the dough and press it down evenly using aspoon
  5. Let it chill in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  6. Melt the chocolate and coconut oil over a bowl of hot water.
  7. Pour the chocolate evenly over the dough andreturn to the fridge for 1 hour.
  8. Sprinkle with sea salt and cut into bars.

Notes

🍫 Chocolate topping: Use 85% or higher for the best nutritional profile. The darker the better!
🥜 Peanut butter: Make sure it’s natural and unsweetened. The only ingredient on the label should be peanuts (and salt).
🍫 Protein powder: Any protein powder works here, but a neutral or vanilla flavour blends best.
🥛 Milk: Dairy or plant-based both work fine.
❄️ Storage: Keep the bars in the fridge in an airtight container. They’ll last up to a week… if they last that long! 😉
