This is not a generic health blog. It is a personal project built on years of research, real-life experimentation, and a genuine passion for longevity.
The site covers everything from nutrition and fitness to biohacking, sleep optimization and supplements. All content is rooted in evidence-based research and personal experience. Think of it as following a friend who happens to have a background in public health, a certification in nutrition coaching, and an obsession with living well.
My name is Kajsa Martensson. I am a woman in my forties, living in northern Europe, with a biological age of 29. That number is not a coincidence. It is the result of years of studying, testing and applying the best longevity strategies I could find.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Public Health and have completed the Food Matters Nutrition Certification Program, which deepened my expertise in holistic and functional nutrition. With over 15 years of absorbing health research through studies, podcasts and books, my interest in this field runs deep.
Alongside my health journey, I am an internet entrepreneur with over a decade of experience building successful online businesses. My most successful company was sold for over 4.5 million USD in 2017. I now bring that same dedication and drive to Hacks4Wellness.
Outside of work, you will find me playing tennis or golf, lifting weights, running, or spending time with my family.
I started this site because I wanted to share what actually works. Too much of the practical advice we receive about health and nutrition is influenced by big food and pharmaceutical industries. I wanted to offer an alternative voice, one that is honest, personal and grounded in real science.
If I can inspire even one person to make a small change that leads to a healthier, longer life, this platform has done its job. Health is contagious. One person changes, influences another, and the ripple effect begins.

”Natural”. ”No added sugar”. ”High in fibre”. ”Wholesome”. These words are carefully chosen to make you feel good about what you are putting in your trolley. But they tell you almost nothing about what is actually inside the product.
The real story is in the ingredients list. And most of us never read it. 👆
Added sugar hides under over 60 different names on food labels. Dextrose, maltose, corn syrup, fruit juice concentrate, agave nectar. If you do not know what to look for, you will miss it every time.

I have been thinking a lot lately about how privileged we are in the western world. We have access to more food, more medicine and more information than any generation before us.
And yet. We are eating ourselves into sickness and then medicating both the weight, and the illnesses away. 😢
Isn’t that a strange world we live in?
Somewhere along the way we stopped listening to the wisdom that was already there. Long before supermarkets, ultra-processed foods and weight loss injections. People understood that what you put in your body was either your greatest medicine or your greatest poison.

Most women over 40 focus on the number on the scale. I focus on what my body can actually do. 💪
Grip strength is one of my non-negotiables.
Why grip strength? Because research consistently links it to longevity, independence and healthy aging. It is considered one of the simplest ways to assess overall physical function as we age.
👇 This is how to improve it:
Start with a dead hang. Simply hang from a bar and work your way up to 60 seconds. Once you can comfortably hold that, you can begin progressing to pull-ups, chin-ups and other movements that challenge your grip even further.
Weak grip strength is often an early sign that overall strength and function need attention. Strong grip strength is a sign your body is working the way it should.
That is why I train it. Regularly. At home. With a bar I bought for less than the cost of a gym month.
