About Hacks4wellness

Hacks4Wellness.com is a science-backed wellness platform founded in 2024, created for women 40+ who want to take control of their health, slow the aging process, and feel stronger than ever. This is not a generic health blog. It is a personal project built on years of research, real-life experimentation, and a genuine passion for longevity.

The site covers everything from nutrition and fitness to biohacking, sleep optimization and supplements. All content is rooted in evidence-based research and personal experience. Think of it as following a friend who happens to have a background in public health, a certification in nutrition coaching, and an obsession with living well.

My Story

My name is Kajsa Martensson. I am a woman in my forties, living in northern Europe, with a biological age of 29. That number is not a coincidence. It is the result of years of studying, testing and applying the best longevity strategies I could find.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Public Health and have completed the Food Matters Nutrition Certification Program, which deepened my expertise in holistic and functional nutrition. With over 15 years of absorbing health research through studies, podcasts and books, my interest in this field runs deep.

Alongside my health journey, I am an internet entrepreneur with over a decade of experience building successful online businesses. My most successful company was sold for over 4.5 million USD in 2017. I now bring that same dedication and drive to Hacks4Wellness.

Outside of work, you will find me playing tennis or golf, lifting weights, running, or spending time with my family.

My Mission

I started this site because I wanted to share what actually works. Too much of the practical advice we receive about health and nutrition is influenced by big food and pharmaceutical industries. I wanted to offer an alternative voice, one that is honest, personal and grounded in real science.

If I can inspire even one person to make a small change that leads to a healthier, longer life, this platform has done its job. Health is contagious. One person changes, influences another, and the ripple effect begins.

Disclaimer

Hacks4Wellness.com is owned and operated by a health enthusiast, not a medical professional. Nothing on this site should be viewed as medical advice. The content here is for inspiration and education only. You are responsible for the decisions you make regarding your own health. Cooperations and Partnerships

To fund this website, I use an affiliate model. I am very selective about who I work with. I only promote products and services that I genuinely believe in and that align with my values. If you represent a brand in the fields of health, longevity, nutrition or wellness and think we could be a good fit, I would love to hear from you. You don’t need to overhaul your entire life to feel better. You just need to start.

Pick one small change. Just one. Stick with it until it feels automatic, then add another. That’s it. That’s the whole strategy.

Small habits compound quietly. You won’t feel the difference after one day, but give it a few months and the version of you who eats slowly, walks after meals, and gets morning sunlight is a genuinely different person than the one who doesn’t.

Don’t go all-in. Go one habit in. 💚

Exercise isn’t a hobby. It’s a responsibility.

Not because of how it makes you look, but because of what it lets you do.

Standing up without help. Carrying your own groceries. Getting down on the floor with your grandchildren, and getting back up again without thinking twice.

That’s the real reason to keep showing up.

Every session is a deposit into a future where your body still lets you live fully. 💚

Your age is just a number. Your body tells a much more interesting story. 💚

Some of the strongest predictors of healthy aging are things you can actually improve.

🪑 30-second chair stand test: Count how many times you can stand up and sit down from a chair in 30 seconds without using your hands. It reflects lower-body strength, balance, and functional independence.

🧘 Floor Rise Test: Sit down on the floor cross-legged, then stand back up using no support from your hands. It combines strength, mobility, balance, and coordination into one simple movement.

🤝 Grip strength: One easy way to challenge your grip is by hanging from a pull-up bar. If you can work your way up to a 60-second dead hang, you’re building one of the strongest physical markers linked to healthy aging.

The best part? Every one of these measurements can improve with consistent training. 💪
